the East Branch

Homestead

Join Rebekah L. Smith on an adventurous project for wool appliqué. Create a statement piece for your home that tells the story of farm days past. Inspired by  a local stone home near a reservoir (called East Branch), this wool appliqué project features a farmhouse nestled in a wooly landscape filled with creatures, gardens, fields and trees. The project measures 31.5" high x 53" wide.

While the East Branch Homestead is not a real place in and of itself, the elements Rebekah included in this project were inspired by the real creatures, structures, and landscapes of rural areas.

Rebekah’s work is influenced by early American folk art in form and by the natural world around her in color. Find out more about Rebekah & her work at www.rebekahlsmith.com
